Twitter is encouraging users who updated their profile pictures to share those updates in an effort to boost visual content and engagement.

The social network confirmed to Sarah Perez of TechCrunch that users who update their profile pictures are being prompted to tweet about it with the hashtag #NewProfilePic, adding that those tweets are not sent out automatically, and that users can edit them as they see fit.

Twitter told Perez the feature is now available to all Android users and a “small percentage” of iOS users, with a full rollout on the latter platform “still weeks out.”
