But how do you integrate your marketing so that your branding message is unified? In a word, you should do one of two things. Either put your Internet marketing under your overall marketing umbrella so that one follows the other, or have a liaison between the two that works to simplify and integrate your message.

"Gamification" seems to be the up and coming buzz word. You may recall that in April, I covered Empire Avenue in a post about the gamification of social media. Now, Google is in the news (literally) with a gamification project of their own, and I think it has some potential. Let's explore why. I saw a message on Google+ yesterday from the-ever on top of the newest app-Louis Gray that made me cringe. It was about an import tool called Facebook Exodus. Basically it allows you to invite your entire Facebook friends list to Google+. Of course you could pick and choose but if you’ve got a lot of friends you could be tempted to just invite them all.

Online social networking continues to change and evolve. This week, Google CEO and co-founder Larry Page announced that Google + has over 10 million people using it in less than two weeks with over one billion pieces of content shared.
