WhatsApp Adds GIF Search, Triples Image Sharing Limit

WhatsApp quietly introduced two new features: the ability to search for GIF files and to share more images.
Manish Singh of Mashable reported on the new features, saying that they are live on iOS and are currently available via WhatsApp beta v2.17.6 for Android, likely meaning an “official” launch soon.
According to Singh, WhatsApp users can now search for GIF files directly within the application and share those GIF files with friends.
Also, users can now share up to 30 images files simultaneously, up from 10.
