Committing To Becoming Knowledgable About Social Media ROI

Waxing UnLyrical

I don’t know Olivier Blanchard personally. I follow him on Twitter and like “The Brand Builder” on Facebook. That’s the extent of our relationship, and it is decidedly one-sided. I think that’s important for you to know before you read the rest of this post.

Techipedia: Tamar Weinberg

This is a guest post from Barry Mueller. Companies always strive for ways to create brand awareness. As everyone knows, the big companies will always have an advantage in this field due to their surplus of money which forces the smaller companies to think more creatively. Facebook Timeline for Pages- WAY more than a pretty cover

Janet Fouts

We’ve mostly gotten comfy with the changes to our personal pages when Facebook went to the timeline model, but trust me, that was nothing compared to the changes you’re going to see for business. Let’s face it, the tab system with Pages never really worked, and it was hard to keep those really important posts at the top of your page for long.

Bill Hartzer

You may or may not have heard, but there is a new social media site called Pinterest. Unlike other social media sites where the main focus is to build a profile, with Pinterest, the emphasis is on “pinning” pictures that interest you to your various pin boards (hence the name Pinterest). 3 Blogging Rules You Should Break

ProBlogger

This guest post is by Anish Majumdar of DashAmerican.com. The most valuable piece of writing advice I ever got was from an editor at a print magazine after I’d handed in the first draft of an article. I’d spent hours poring over old issues to “get the tone right” and had fought my natural style every step of the way. The end result? A returned draft shot through with corrections and a one-line response: “Write from the inside and trust that we’ll get it.”.
