Generic Experiences Produce Generic Responses

Josh S Peters

Generic is forgettable. When was the last time you read or looked at something and said “Gee, that’s really average. I think I’ll share it.” Or how about the last time you saw a product and thought “This is so generic I must have it.” Unless you’re a hipster, this probably hasn’t happened recently if ever in your life.

Why Must You Have A Presence On The Web?

Small Business Mavericks

I hate to say it, but there are tens of thousands of websites that are really just taking up valuable space. And I’m not talking about spam or get rich sites, or mom and dad blogs here. …and Blog Comment Spam Continues

Ari Herzog

With names such as SEO Forum, SEO Outsourcing, and Herbalife, it is pathetic that despite clear instructions that real names are required when adding comments, people continue to leave comments with their company names or other search engine optimized keywords. Bill Hartzer

Home Depot , the home improvement “big box” retailer, has been caught promoting what I call “questionable” link tactics and providing false information to their vendors. In an email to their vendors (specifically those who provide installation services), a representative from Home Depot encourages their vendors to link to specific pages on Home Depot’s website using specific anchor text–and then encourages those links to be “hidden” Furthermore, Ho
