Facebook quietly added the ability for users to endorse candidates in the 2016 presidential election, as well as issues tabs on those candidates’ pages.

The Facebook pages for Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein each contain an endorsements tab, and users who click on those tabs can publicly declare their support via News Feed and perhaps via the candidates’ pages, as well.

Facebook offered instructions for endorsing candidates in a post on its Help Center:

  • Select the Endorsement tab on the political figure’s Facebook page.
