Ok, let me get one thing out of the way before I begin. I am opposed entirely to this notion, partly because I am a free market enonomist and partly because I can see right through the red tape in the government. From a general standpoint this looks like a good idea right? True, but here is some history. The money you hold in your hand is worthless , look at what it says, “Backed by the full faith of the US Government” It started when it was taken off the gold standard in 1971.

Well, very simple. I went to a conference in March of 2006, and there met Ken Pierpont. It was at that conference I first heard about blogging and the power behind it. He also touched a bit on podcasting, which I had never heard before. I came home and purposed at that point to start “blogging” I kept it as a bit of an online journal if you will for a while, then started digging deeper into blogging.

I found someone came from Bing.com, and that was the exact day Bing.com launched. Naturally, I was interested in how they came to my website. Yes, and I have to say it. Twitter is dead. I could make the same comparisons about Facebook, but for the sake of this post, I’m sticking with Twitter. It has been my experience that as soon as something, anything , hits mainstream and is “talked up” all the time in the media means it is on the verge of dying out. Completely opposite of mainstream thought eh?

Derek is a 23 year old CEO of internet startup, Tatango.com and quite successful in his area of expertise. I personally heard of him through Gary Vaynerchuk and Daniel Brusilovsky. I’ve added myself to his list (I’m #29) and if you are a young entrepreneur, go ahead and add yourself to this list as well.

There is a fine line between having an Entrepreneur mindset and an Employee mindset, lets see if you notice the difference: Entrepreneurs are willing to risk it all, employees prefer to play it safe and stay off the radar. Entrepreneurs can’t adjust to what society dictates, employees flow right along with the mainstream. Entrepreneurs make the rules, employees follow rules.

I went with a group of friends to see Avatar last night. If anything, this was the one movie on my list that I had to see. I had seen the previews for it, and it sparked my interest immediately. Oddly enough, the day started out with nothing planned, but I knew for a fact that I would see Avatar before the day was out. I was waiting on a call from the friends as to the exact day and time, and when I did check in with them they said it would be that very night.

Ah, the Super Bowl. Sitting around with family watching two teams batter each other for the title of Super Bowl Victor. For me, in years gone by, I used to enjoy watching the Super Bowl for the pure fun of it. I was young, there was food, and something cool was on the screen to entertain me. Then I grew up. I still enjoy watching the Super Bowl and can hold my own when it comes to debating over football teams and players, but that is just side knowledge.
