'A few months back I stumbled upon an interesting question and answer session with Tony Hsieh at Samsung’s Blogger Lounge at SXSW. During the 30-minute session, the Zappos CEO touched on a lot of topics, but the one that stood out the most was on what he wanted to do with the company’s new offices in the old Las Vegas city hall. While the new digs mean more space for the team at Zappos, Hsieh does not want his employees to get lost in this space.

Over the past two years I participated in a challenge that I heard about on my friend Arik Hanson’s blog to read a set number of books. In each of the past two years I met my goal of surpassing 30 books in the calendar year which helped keep my mind’s creative juices flowing. This year, I have decided to take a step back and lower my number to 20 books with the hope to read something that either brings me into more of an imagination plane of thought or to take me outside of my comfort zone.

You know what this is right? Earlier this week, my pal Gini Dietrich (even though she has zero skills in Draw Something , we are still cool) wrote a post showcasing social media usage by CEOs in the Fortune 500.
